For maximum privacy & security of BITS1980 batch-mates’ cyber identity, we are using Secured-sign-up / sign-in through Google-Site + Google-Account. (Don’t worry; Google-Account is not creating any gmail ID or new website for you).
The login ID for this registration is any valid e-mail ID of your choice.
By default we use available / authenticated Email ID from your Yahoo! group registration. However for new / non-Yahoo! group members a manual verification will be carried out based on the “Quick Registration”
(i) Use “Login name = any valid Email ID” of your choice
(e.g. xxxx @yahoo.com, yyyy @yourCO.com etc.)
(ii) Google-Account Creation only asks to choose your password
(iii) Google will send a verification email to your above e-mail & you need to ‘click’ the link through your mail-box.
(iv) This will take you to “membership page”.
(v) If you are a first time user or your email ID didn’t match with Y!-group registration [may be due to backend madness :-) ], you may get following error message:

Existing Y!-group members: You have additional privilage to ring the Member’s Call Bell seeking early help / cross-verification . However you can still phone a coordinator.
New Members: Your Quick Registration form will initiate action. However any batch-mate, is welcome to call team coordinators on phone. (Manual Moderation is important for your cyber security).
